
As a leading provider of automotive and motorsport engineering education in the East of England, West Suffolk College has evolved from a single-car entry in the Student Motorsport Competition (part of the BRSCC Nankang Tyre CityCar Cup Championship) in 2022 to a multi-car entrant for the 2025 season, combined with entries into additional sprint and endurance contests.
Under the leadership of Course Director Motorsport Engineering and Team Principal Alan Barrett, the Bury St Edmunds-based squad has utilised its on-track motorsport activities to act as a live-action laboratory, bridging the gap between Level 3 Motorsport Engineering studies and real-world racing experience for its learners.
